Xuanxiang Wu

Xuanxiang Wu, 17 years old, he was admitted to the Music Middle School Affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2016 and studied with Prof. Ting Zhong. Since September 2021, he has been studying at the Juilliard Pre-College as a student of Prof. Ernest Barretta.

He has performed at Carnegie Hall, the St. Petersburg State Capella Concert Hall, America’s National Opera Center, the Shanghai Oriental Art Center, and other prestigious venues. He has performed with the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, the New York International Youth Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, the New York Session Symphony, and the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra.

He won the Overall Winner in Philadelphia International Music Festival Winter Concerto Competition and has been interviewed by CBS News, New York FOX 5 news, the Queens Ledger and the World Daily. He also won the First Prize and the Classical Prize in the Young Artist Group at the Canada International Piano Competition, the top prize at the St. Petersburg International Music Competition, the GOCAA International Piano Competition, the 3rd Lang Lang Shenzhen Futian International Piano Festival, and the New York International Music Competition.

Since May 2023, he has been in artistic collaboration with Italian composer Lorenzo Pescini.

Besides playing the piano, he also enjoys painting, reading, playing badminton and watching movies.
