Ziye Tao

Ziye, 18 years old, studied under Associate Professor Su Mai at the Central Conservatory of Music. He will pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance at Oberlin Conservatory with the full scholarship this fall, study under Professor Dang Thai Son. Ziye was admitted to the Piano Department of the Central Conservatory of Music with the top score in 2023.

In recent years, Ziye has performed frequently in various theaters across the country, including the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Opera Music Hall of the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing Steinway Hall, Xi'an Steinway Hall, Shandong Grand Theatre, Chengdu City Music Hall, Henan Poly Centre Music Hall, Shenyang Conservatory of Music Concert Hall, Cangzhou Grand Theatre, Jiangxi Province Grand Theatre, etc. In June this year, Ziye will perform Stravinsky's Petrushka at the Xinghai Music Hall in Guangzhou. 

Ziye has been invited to record music programs and performances on CCTV multiple times; has been invited to participate in concerts by the China-Japan Friendship Association; and has been invited by the Central Conservatory of Music Publishing House to record demonstration audio. Ziye has won important awards in many competitions, including the Xiamen International Piano Competition and the Beijing Xinghai Cup Piano Competition, the "Fan Jianqin" Memorial Scholarship for three years， and is a competitor in the Pozzoli International Piano Competition in 2023. Ziye is a passionate enthusiast of chamber music and has performed many duo works and trios with partners.

Ziye has received high praise from many musicians, including Dang Thai Son, Kevin Kenner, Sa Chen, Danwen Wei, Yuan Sheng, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Andrey Ponochevny, Alessandro Deljavan, Katherine Chi, Pavlina Dokovska, Gabriel Kwok, etc.
