Richard Bai is currently a junior at Amador Valley High School and has been playing piano since he was five. His experience playing the piano has allowed him to enjoy music, life, and the world around him.

He is currently studying with Dr. Sharon Mann in the San Francisco Conservatory Pre-College. He has won awards in numerous competitions such as the USOMC, the US International Music Festival, American Protégé Piano and Strings Competitions, and invitations to perform at the Junior Bach Festival and Carnegie Hall. In 2021, he attended the Young Artist Piano Program at Boston University Tanglewood Music Festival.

He occasionally tutors younger piano students, and frequently performs at senior centers.

He is also a passionate chamber musician, and has performed at many venues with his piano trio, such as the Berkeley Etude Club.

In his free time, Richard enjoys swimming and spending time with his family and friends.
