Fort Worth, where piano meets the world

PianoTexas International Festival & Academy presents a full calendar of piano events during the month of June that places Fort Worth on the cultural map of the world. Events include piano recitals, masterclasses, and concerto performances with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.

The Distinguished Artists Series is the core of our Festival. It is a rare occasion that you can hear five concerts with of some of the best-known world artists within a three-week period. Invited to our extraordinary Van Cliburn Concert Hall, Vadym Kholodenko, Sa Chen, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, Enrico Elisi, and Eric Lu will perform the treasures of the classical piano repertoire.  You will love every moment of their artistry, their passion and dedication to bring music of the highest order to all of us.

Repertoire of each recital will be posted soon, we encourage you to purchase your tickets to reserve your seats.

One of the most unique features of PianoTexas is providing opportunities for our student concerto competition winners to perform as soloists with the Fort Worth Symphony.  This rare opportunity is offered across all three divisions - Juniors, Young Artists, and Teacher Amateurs.  Nowhere in the world you can hear such a great variety of performances by young artists embarking on their careers, or a 14-year-old take command of a Beethoven or Tchaikovsky Concerto or a physician, perhaps a lawyer embarking on a voyage through the music of Mozart or Rachmaninoff.

Purchase your tickets to hear your beloved concertos with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra conducted by our resident conductor, Miguel Harth-Bedoya.
