Max Wang Tian is currently studying with Professor Alexander Panizza, previously, he started piano with Dr. Michael Berkovsky beginning at age four.

Max is enthusiastic about performing on stage. He has already performed with a few orchestra including the Kindred Spirits Orchestra quintet and the Greater Toronto Philharmonic.

Max is a top 3 prize winner of many international music competitions, including first prize winner at the Crescendo Piano Competition in 2020, the second prize at the VI Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition, and the second prize winner of the Napolinova International competition in 2021. He is a top 3 winners of CMC 2022 at age 10 category.

Max likes violin, math, and athletic sports. He played at AAA hockey prior to Covid-19 and won championship on AA tournament in 2020 Spring.
