Yui-him Mo (11)
Concerto: Mozart Concerto No. 21 in C major, K. 467 (I. Allegro maestoso)
Born in May 2011, Yui-him Mo is currently a student of Ms. Karen Sung. Yui-him started playing piano at the age of 4. In 2018, he was admitted to the Junior Music Program at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) majoring in piano. Over the past few years, he has received numerous prizes in local and overseas piano competitions, including First Prize in the 20th Hong Kong-Asia Piano Competition, First Prize in the 71st, 73rd and 74th Hong Kong School Music Festival, 1st Prize in The Singapore International Piano Competition 2021 (Children Class B), 3rd Prize in The Canada International Youth Piano Festival 2021 (Age 8-10), First Runner-up in the 85th Steinway & Sons International Youth Piano Competition (Hong Kong & Macau Regional Competition), (Amateur Class B). He also won 1st Prize in the Hong Kong Generation Next Art (HKGNA) International Music Competition 2021 (Piano, Junior Division). In October 2018, he performed as guest soloist at the Joy of Music Festival held in the City Hall of Hong Kong. Apart from piano, Yui-him also studies Zhong Ruan at HKAPA.
