Ziyue Zeng, is a junior from Aptos, Santa Cruz. She has been studying piano with Dr. Chia-Lin Yang since she came to America in 2018. She has won many awards and scholarships internationally and regionally, including: Cesar Franck International Piano Competition, Costa Rica Piano Competition & Festival, Celia Mendez Young Pianists Beethoven Competition, KAMSA, BIMC, USIMC, Silicon Valley Music Competition, Pacific International Piano Competition, France Music Competition of Les Musicales du Centre, New Star International Piano Competition, etc. She is a recipient of Santa Cruz Symphony Muller Scholarship 2018-2022. She has been a performer in Junior Bach Festival since 2018. She has performed as a soloist with Santa Cruz County Youth Symphony in 2022, and will perform with GSYO Senior Symphony in 2023. She has played in masterclasses with Hans Boepple, Jeff LaDeur, John Blacklow, Ronald Brautigam, Sonia Leong, Vladimir Khomyakov, and Anna Dmytrenko. She is a member of Young Chamber Musicians since 2021. She attended BUTI Young Artists Piano Program in summer 2022. She performed as one of the two featured pianists in 2022 Sparkling Musicale fundraiser hosted by the American Beethoven Society. She was invited to perform at 2022 San Francisco International Piano Festival. Recently she has been invited to participate in Music@Menlo Young Performers Program 2023.
