Marin lives in Tokyo, Japan, where she has attended both Japanese and international schools. Her first experience playing piano was at 5 years old, while also studying the cello and flute. Marin also has been active in dance and athletics, winning First Prize as a soloist at the 2023 All-Japan Hula Competition and earning her second-degree blackbelt in Shotokan karate in 2024 as a member of the Tokyo Junior Development Karate Team.
Marin has achieved recognition at the 11th Tokyo International Piano Competition (First Prize), the 78th Student Music Concours of Japan (National Finalist; Third Prize, Tokyo), the 26th Japan Player’s Competition (Third Prize), the 7th Ishikawa International Piano Competition (Second Prize), and the 10th Toho Gakuen National Junior Competition (First Prize). In 2024, Marin performed in award-winner concerts at Mozarthaus Vienna and Carnegie Hall.
Marin currently studies piano under Ms. Mayuko Yamamoto and Ms. Hisako Motomura, and she has been selected for Master Classes with Pascal Devoyon, Keiko Takeuchi, Ayako Imai, On Mitani, and Jun Kanno. She also is broadly active at Toho Gakuen, learning music theory.
