Brandon Bing

Born in Montreal in 2011, Brandon Bing is a pianist of exceptional artistry and technical command. His musical journey began at the age of six and has since been defined by a rapid ascent through Canada’s most prestigious musical institutions and competitions.

In 2024, Brandon’s profound musicality was recognized on a national stage when he was awardedthe Grand Prix by maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin at the OMNI Competition. This prestigiousdistinction underscored his "exceptional artistry and musical maturity," qualities that have become thehallmark of his performances.

In recognition of his extraordinary potential, Brandon was admitted in 2025 to the Conservatoire demusique du Québec as its youngest-ever college-level student, a placement typically reserved for significantly older musicians. Currently a two-time scholarship recipient at the Conservatoire, he maintains the highest academicand performance standing while balancing a rigorous bilingual curriculum at Collège François-de-Laval.

Brandon’s development has been further enriched by masterclasses and artistic collaborations withsome of the world’s most distinguished pianists, including Marc-André Hamelin, Wolfgang Manz, andAlexander Schimpf, all of whom have praised his disciplined focus and refined musical voice.
