
Boen Brian Jiang is a 12-year-old pianist from Hong Kong who began studying piano at the age of six. He currently studies under the guidance of Chi-Chen Wu and Alexey Sychev.
As the youngest contestant, Brian was the Grand Prix champion at the 3rd Hong Kong International Piano Grand Prix Competition in 2026. He also received a silver prize at the 27th International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia and will compete in the grand final of the 33rd International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth in Szafarnia, Poland. In addition, Brian has earned awards in many other competitions, including the London Chopin Competition for Young Pianists, the Steinway & Sons International Youth Piano Competition, the KAWAI Asia Piano Competition, the PIARA Hamamatsu International Piano Competition, the Pearl River–Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition, the Singapore International Young Piano Competition, the PREMIA International Young Artists Music Festival, the Grand Opus International Piano Concerto Competition, and the Summer Young Artist Concerto Competition at the Cleveland Institute of Music, among others.
Brian has performed with the Saigon Festival Orchestra, the Qing Xin Ensemble, and the International Youth Chamber Orchestra. He has also appeared at piano festivals hosted by the Cleveland Institute of Music, Oberlin Conservatory, the Tianjin Juilliard School, and the Taipei International Maestro Piano Festival. In 2026, he is scheduled to perform at MusicFest Perugia, the Todi International Music Masters Festival, and the PianoTexas International Festival.
In his free time, Brian enjoys hiking, playing chess, and soccer games. He’s also a skilled badminton player, inspired by his older brother.
