Panelo Hsieh

Born in Brisbane, Australia, Panelo is currently a second-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at the Queensland Conservatorium. At 16, she was accepted into the Queensland Conservatorium on a full scholarship, where she studies under Angela Turner. She also currently studies privately with Professor Steven Lin. Panelo has had the privilege of performing in masterclasses for renowned musicians such as Alexandre Moutouzkine, Natasha Vlassenko, Stéphane Lemelin, and many others. As a chamber musician, Panelo is a member of the Timli Trio alongside Patrick Phillips and Holly Shelton. Together, they have won numerous awards and were National Finalists in Strike A Chord 2024, where they received the Firebird Mentorship Prize.
