Andre Peck

André Previn Peck is an 11-year-old pianist from La Crosse, Wisconsin. Studying piano since the age of 4 1/2, he is currently a student of Dr. Joseph Zins at the Crocus Hill Studios in St. Paul, Minnesota, as a member of the Premier Group. Andre’s passions in addition to piano to include sports (basketball, golf, and tennis); Mathematics; cubing; chess; reading; and time with friends. His interest and ability in math are reflected in his current enrollment in a course for high school juniors. He has given back to his community using his piano skills through featured performances in two Kids-Helping-Kids La Crosse fundraiser, which raised $9,000 for the newly renovated Memorial Pool and Children’s Museum. He also accompanies musical groups at his school. The spirit of philanthropy was instilled by his parents, Chris Peck and Chau Nguyen. His younger brother Stephen is a cellist and the two perform together occasionally. Andre is currently a sixth grader in middle school and will complete high school mathematics courses next year. André’s joie de vivere is exceptional and reflects a child with enormous talents and a relationship-based life.
