Pianist Frédéric Chen has performed throughout Asia, Europe and North America, appearing at major concert stages such as the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center, Palau de la Musica of Valencia, Spain, and the National Concert Hall, Taiwan.

Mr. Chen has given recitals in London, Paris, St Louis, and Taipei in venues such as the St Martin-in-the-Fields in London and the National Recital Hall in Taipei. In 2017, he performed the complete Twenty-Four Etudes of Chopin at the National Recital Hall in Taipei. Mr. Chen has appeared with orchestras including the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Toruń Orchestra and the National Taiwan Normal University Orchestra. An avid chamber musician, he has been featured in several concerts of the Taiwan Yale Ensemble in recent years. He has also performed in numerous music festivals, including the International Holland Music Sessions, and the Sergei Babayan International Piano Academy. Mr. Chen is the winner of the Artist Presentation Society Auditions and the First Prize Winner at the Taiwan National Piano Competition.

A native of Taiwan, Frédéric Chen is a graduate of the Yale School of Music and also studied at the Imola International Piano Academy. At present, he is an adjunct piano faculty at the Cheng-Gong Primary School, Hwa-Gang Junior High school, and Ming-Yih Primary School.
