Guorong Liang

Guorong Liang is a distinguished young pianist and a featured artist of Kaiserpiano. He has served as a piano faculty member at the Guangxi Arts University and has been invited as a jury member for numerous prestigious piano competitions. Throughout his career, Liang has studied under renowned teachers both in China and abroad, gaining profound insights into a wide range of piano repertoires spanning various periods and styles. He has received dozens of awards in major competitions such as the China Golden Bell Piano Competition and the Budapest International Concerto Competition.

Liang is an active performer with hundreds of concerts to his credit, including solo recitals, chamber performances, and concerto appearances. He has performed extensively across the United States, Hungary, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and many major cities throughout China. In 2020, as a featured artist of Kaiserpiano, he successfully completed a nationwide solo tour. In 2016, he received a full scholarship to perform at the Baltimore Music Festival in the United States, where he had the opportunity to study with internationally acclaimed pianists and master teachers. In 2018, he was invited to perform at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Liang has frequently collaborated with prominent orchestras including the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Guangxi Symphony Orchestra, Guangxi Arts University Symphony Orchestra, Guangxi Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Cross-Strait Youth Symphony Orchestra. In 2023, he was awarded at the PIANOTEXAS Festival Concerto Competition, earning the opportunity to perform with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.

As an educator, Liang has mentored numerous students to top prizes in prestigious international and national competitions such as the IAFM Cologne International Piano Competition, the 7th Paderewski International Piano Competition (USA), the 10th Chopin International Piano Competition (Romania), the 2nd Bangkok International Piano Competition, and the Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Lanzhou Piano Open Competitions. His students have also been admitted to leading music institutions worldwide. In addition, he is a frequent jury member for international and domestic piano competitions, including MAP-IMC International Music Competition, Excellence Cup International Music Open, Warsaw International Youth Piano Competition, Prokofiev International.
