
Haochen Li is a classically trained pianist who balances a career in the pharmaceutical industry with an activemusical life in New York City. He began studying piano at the age of six and later trained at the JuilliardSchool’s Evening Division, studying with Mika Sasaki from the Julliard School, Magdalena Stern-Baczewskafrom Columbia University, and Eduardus Halim from New York University.
Maurice has performed at venues including Juilliard’s Paul Hall, Columbia University, and the American OperaCenter. His repertoire spans classical and Romantic works, with a particular interest in chamber music andsolo piano literature.
While working professionally in pharma, Maurice remains committed to serious music study and performance,continuing to refine his technique and interpretation through regular recitals and collaborations. His dual background in science and the arts brings both precision and sensitivity to his playing.
