Jon Lee

Pianist Jonathan Lee has thrilled audiences throughout the United States in venues including Symphony Hall in Boston, Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City, and Benaroya Hall in Seattle, and has performed as soloist with the Boston Pops Orchestra and the Utah Symphony. A prizewinner of several competitions in 2019, Mr. Lee captured top prizes at the Washington International Piano Artists Competition, Boston International Piano Competition, and Seattle International Piano Competition. An active chamber musician, Mr. Lee formed the Alden Trio in 2013, which has performed throughout the Bay Area. In addition to his music interests, Mr. Lee pursued a Master’s degree in computer science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Combining his interests in music and technology, Jon wrote an iPad app called MusicPodium to make score reading more portable.
