U Chun Lam was born in 2002 and currently is studying in Oberlin Conservatory under the tutelage of Professor Dang Thai Son. He started learning the piano at the age of 5 at GMC Music Academy and had been studying with principal Ms. Rizzo Chung.

Chun Lam has continually achieved top prizes at many local and international competitions. His achievements include prizes in the Steinway & Sons International Youth Piano Competition in China, Chopin International Piano Competition in Asia, Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musician, Hanoi International Piano Competition, Van Cliburn Junior Piano Competition and Ettlingen International Competition for Young Pianists.

Chun Lam has collaborated with the Virtue Quartet to perform a chamber reduction of the Chopin Piano Concerto No. 1. He has also collaborated with many orchestras, including Salzburg Chamber Soloists, VNAM Symphony Orchestra and HK Youth Symphony Orchestra, performing under the batons of Lavard Skou-Larsen and David Gomez Ramirez.

In addition, Chun Lam also frequently attended the masterclasses of world-famous pianists and teachers, such as Maria João Pires, Tamás Ungár, William Grant Nabore, Lee Kum-Sing, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Angela Chang and Reiko Kikuchi.
