Christy Wu

Christy Wu is an undergraduate student at the Colburn Conservatory of Music, where she studies piano on a full scholarship under the guidance of renowned pianist Fabio Bidini.

She began her piano studies at the age of five with Jingwen Tao and later continued her education at Guting Elementary School and National Taiwan Normal University Affiliated High School, studying under Shan Shan Wang and Chiao-han Liao. At 14, Christy was admitted to the Colburn Music Academy, where she was accepted to the studio of Fabio Bidini.

Christy has earned multiple prestigious awards, including the Absolute First Prize at the 12th Valencia International Performing Arts Competition (VIPA) and the Absolute First Prize at the 5th Malaga International Piano Arts Competition (FIPMA). She was a finalist in the 2024 Colburn Concerto Competition, and was featured on the 2020 "From the Top" program. Her performances have also taken her to renowned venues such as the National Concert Hall in Taiwan, the Centre del Carme in Spain, and more.
