Hon Yu (Richard) Wong

Described as “The future of classical music” by the International Holland Music Sessions. Hon Yu (Richard) Wong is an active soloist and chamber musician who performs extensively in venues across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. In 2024, he made his orchestral debut with MusicFest Perugia Orchestra, followed by a celebrated solo and chamber performance debut at Koerner Hall in 2025.

Wong is a fourth year Bachelor of Performance student and he is a full scholarship recipient, studying with John Perry and David Louie at the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music. Wong has had the privilege to perform for internationally renowned musicians such as Arie Vardi, Stephen Hough, Mikhail Voskresensky and Jeremy Denk.
