Shiqin Wang

Shiqin Wang, a young pianist who was accepted by Juilliard School in 2022, is studying with Prof. Julian Martin. He has given recitals or performed in so many venues, such as Carnegie Hall (Wiell Recital Hall), Alice Tully Hall at New York Lincoln Center, Paul Hall and Morse Hall at The Juilliard School, Harris Concert Hall and Music Tent at Aspen, Tianjin Juilliard School, and Tianjin Concert Hall.

Also, he premiered his own composition “The Distant Echo” - Ballade for Solo Piano in DoubleVision Concert at Juilliard School. In addition to that, he has been invited to give a recital at Carnegie Hall on March 15th, 17th and April 12th, 2025 as a guest artist by Concert Artist International Foundation and Golden Classical Music Awards.

He has won prizes from so many competitions, ranging from the 1st prize of Concert Artist International Competition in 2025, the 1st prize in the Golden Classical Music Awards in 2025, the Golden Medal in Manhattan International Music Competition in 2024, to the 1st prize of the youth class and the 3rd prize of open class in Liszt Memorizing Prize International Piano Competition in 2020.
