Yunqing Huang

Chinese-born pianist Yunqing Huang started his professional music education at the age of sixteen. From 2020 to 2022, he studied at the Manhattan School of Music’s Pre-College under Prof. Inesa Sinkevych and is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Music program at The Juilliard School mentored by Prof. Orli Shaham.

His recent performance highlights include a Four Hands performance with Orli Shaham, recitals at Nanjing Steinway Hall, Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center, and at the Tianjin and New York Juilliard School. Yunqing has received masterclasses from illustrious pianists including Arie Vardi, Asaf Zohar, Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Dina Yoffe, Douglas Humpherys, Edward Auer, Ewa Pobłocka, Jan Jiracek von Arnim, Jie Yuan, John Rink, Jörg Demus, Julian Martin, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, Kevin Kenner, Matti Raekallio, Michel Béroff, Minsoo Sohn, Richard Goode, Robert Levin, Sophia Gulyak, Zhe Tang, Xiaohan Wang, Yoheved Kaplinsky, Yong Hi Moon, among others. He has attended festivals such as the Tianjin Juilliard Piano Festival and Kaufman Center SummerFest. Yunqing has also collaborated with notable ensembles including the New York International Symphony and the Juilliard Lab Orchestra.
