
Italian pianist Letizia Palmieri began her piano studies at the age of 5. She graduated cum Laude and honorablemention at Conservatorio “Nino Rota” in Monopoli, studying with M° Paola Bruni and M° Roberto de Leonardis. Shepreviously studied with M° Pasquale Iannone at Conservatorio “Niccolò Piccinni” in Bari. She is currently attending her Master of Performance in Piano Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, under the tutelageof Maestro Graham Scott, Head of Keyboard Studies, as a recipient of an ABRSM EU Postgraduate scholarship.
She has graduated with a G.P.D.(Graduate Performance Diploma) in Piano performance and with a P.S.C.(Professional Studies Certificate) in Piano Performance at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, under the tutelage of M° Michael Lewin.
During her studies, she has also attended several piano masterclasses held by distinguished pianists and pedagoguessuch as Stephen Beus, Yuval Cohen, Francesco Libetta, Leonid Margarius, Bruno Canino, Bruce Brubaker, Ralf Nattkemper, Erling R. Eriksen, M. Wladkowski, Alessio Bax, Alessandro Deljavan, Boris Bloch, Daniel Lebhardt, Gilles Vonsattel, Sara Davis Buechner, Roberto Plano, Alexander Kobrin, HaeSun Paik.
She won around 40 first prizes and first absolute prizes in national and international competitions, including:

During her studies at RNCM, she was selected as a finalist in the Concerto Competition being highly commended and she was selected as finalist in the Artist of the Year (Gold medal) competition with final round happening in June 2026.

She had her solo debut with orchestra in Italy at the age of 13, performing Beethoven concerto No. 1, with orchestra“Suoni del Sud” in Vieste and she has performed Chopin Concerto op. 11 in October 2019 under the baton of M° Giancarlo Andretta at teatro Radar in Monopoli with the Orchestra Sinfonica of Conservatory “Nino Rota”, as a winnerof the Conservatory Concerto Competition. She performed Saint-Saëns Carnival of the Animals with the Chautauqua symphony orchestra under the baton of Maestro Rossen Milanov at the Chautauqua Institute Amphitheater (Chautauqua PianoProgram). She performed Liszt Concerto No. 2 with Orchestra Provincia BAT conducted by M° Benedetto Grillo andEdward Gregson concerto for Piano and Wind at the RNCM Concert Hall conducted by M° Mark Heron.
Her chamber music collaborations include Berklee College of Music professional video recording of Witold Lutoslawski Variations on a Theme by Paganini with pianist Sienna Tabron, published on Berklee online and Boston Conservatory website.
She has been collaborating and performing in a duo with cellist Nick Johnson. She is part of the Palmieri Piano Quartet formed at the RNCM in Manchester. She took part of the Boston Text and Tone Festival performing at the Goethe-Insitut, Boston.
TV appearances have included ORF TV AUSTRIA, TGR RAI 3, TG1 RAI FAI Day 2018.
