Jiarui Zhang

Jiarui Zhang is a dedicated young pianist currently studying under Dr. Esther Park at the Schwob School of Music. Deeply committed to both solo and collaborative performance, Jiarui was recently named a National Winner in Chamber Music at the MTNA Competitions and named winner in the Schwob School of Music Concerto Competition, as well as the 1st place of the Atlanta Music Club competition.

In 2021, Jiarui made his orchestral debut with the Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra under Maestro Liu Peng. He frequently shares his passion for music through solo recitals, having performed at prominent venues across China such as the Sanya Maritime Arts Center, the Pingdingshan Arts Center, the Hefei Yaohai Grand Theatre, and the Wulanmuqi Palace Grand Theatre in Inner Mongolia.

Prior to his collegiate studies, Jiarui attended the Affiliated Middle School of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Professor Christopher Zhong. Continually seeking to refine his artistry, he has participated in masterclasses with distinguished musicians including Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, Alexander Korsantia, Hie-Yon Choi, Sean Chen, and Sofia Gulyak.
