Alyssa Gabrilovich is from the Philadelphia area where she studies piano with Dr. Igor Resnianski at the NBS School of Music. She is an award winner of multiple local, national, and international youth competitions including Chicago International Music Competition, Kaufman Music Center International Youth Piano Competition, New Orleans Piano Institute Solo and Concerto Competitions. Alyssa was a winner of the Pennsylvania State MTNA Competitions for multiple years and winner (2020) and alternate (2022) of Eastern Division MTNA. She was a finalist in the Philadelphia Orchestra Albert M Greenfield Competition in 2020 (finals were canceled due to COVID-19). Alyssa was a recipient of the Chopin Foundation of the United States scholarship in 2020-2022 and a YoungArts winner in 2023. She participated in many piano festivals including PianoTexas, Frost Chopin Academy, New Orleans Piano Institute, Summerfest at Kaufman Music Center, Philadelphia International Music Festival and others and performed in masterclasses for Yoheved Kaplinsky, Alexander Korsantia, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, and Jon Kimura Parker. She has performed as a soloist with several orchestras in the Philadelphia area and New Orleans Civic Symphony, as well as in venues including Weill Recital Hall, Kimmel Center, Merkin Hall, and Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU. Alyssa performed twice live at the WRTI 90.1FM studio and was featured in the WWFM broadcasted series “Kids on Keys” in 2018 and in NPR’s From the Top program in 2020 and 2023.
