Ken Iisaka, born in Tokyo, began playing piano at the age of one, but it was not until age 4 when he started using his hands. Piano was his first love, and often dreamed of a professional career as a pianist, but he later fell in love with computers. While attending Aspen Music School, he came to a realization that he had the freedom to pursue a non-music career, a choice a lot of his peers did not have. Ken has worked as a software engineer across the world, first at an investment bank in New York, then in Tokyo, then at a series of financial and technology firms in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ken continues to work as a software engineer in the field of Artificial Intelligence, which was his field of study in college. He is currently working to solve the problem of helping individuals find employment in the rapidly evolving job market. Ken has also performed in concerts and in competitions across the world: he was a top prize winner in competitions in Washington, DC, Boston, St.Petersburg, Cremona and has been seen performing in such countries as China, Japan, Canada, Germany and Italy.
