Mr. Anqi Wang grew up and lives in Beijing. He is now self-employed as a home-based piano teacher. He also travels to Tianjin Juilliard School every Friday and Saturday where he plays as collaborative pianist with the students of TJS graduate school and pre-college from 2019.
While he obtained the bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Tsinghua University, as well as he worked more than five years as an asset manager, Anqi enjoyed his life with music very much.
He studied piano performance from Prof. Shen Can (CCoM, Beijing) and Prof. Gábor Farkas (Liszt Academy, Budapest) as their private student. In 2015, he took part in the Chopin Competition for Amateur Pianists in Warsaw, where he participated such event for the first time and made to the semi-final. Then he was obsessed: he attended similar event in Paris (2016), San Diego (2016), Kyoto and Tokyo (2018), Washington D.C. (2018) and Boston (2019) with great enthusiasm.
