Jack Stabile is an anesthesiologist from Northern Virginia who began studying piano at the age of eight after his grandfather bought him his first piano. He studied throughout high school and college, minoring in music at Brown University where he performed with the university orchestra and gave a senior recital. At Harvard Medical School he continued to perform although did not study music formally at that time. While raising a family, he became the accompanist for his three children who all played the piano and competed in many concerto competitions in the metropolitan DC area. Over the last several years, he has become more involved with music, attending the Adult Piano Workshop at Kinhaven and AlpenKammerMusik, a chamber music festival held in Austria, for the past several summers. He currently is studying with Anna Balakerskaia. While not working or practicing, he enjoys playing tennis.
