Eric Yu is an upcoming second year Masters student at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, studying piano performance with Spencer Myer. He has made appearances in the Chautauqua and Aspen Music Festival. Eric’s accolades include the Rosamond P. Haeberle Memorial Award and numerous top prizes in piano competitions administered by the Lansing Matinee Musicale and Michigan Music Teacher Association. Alongside performing, Eric spearheaded various contributions for the University of Michigan Gershwin Initiative, and serves as an associate instructor of piano at the Jacobs School of Music. Eric completed his Bachelor’s in Piano Performance at the University of Michigan with Logan Skelton. He also pursues an interest in orchestral conducting.
